SARCC SUBGROUPS

SARCC is member-led; our members highlight their challenges and point out gaps. Coordinating collaborations can be difficult and time-consuming for those who are busy operating sanctuaries and rescue centers.

Through the development of subgroups formed around specific identified issues. The SARC Coalition coordinator can arrange for members to meet, discuss these shared issue-based challenges, collaborate on projects, assist in searching for potential solutions, host working documents, or find additional technical support. We will help maintain momentum on issues and encourage the next steps- keeping an eye over the the overall process, taking away the coordination work from already stretched organizations.

We have already received expressions of interest to develop not only issues based subgroups, but regional subgroups to focus on shared, country-based challenges of SARCs.
