GLOBAL SARC NETWORK
SARCC is proud to be part of a global network of regional and international bodies representing animal sanctuaries and rescue centers across the world. Through our regionally associated network partners, we are able to share successful strategies and collaborate on common challenges.

The AfA Coalition is honoured to be Asia’s regional representative for the World Federation for Animals (WFA), and to be collaborating with the Species Survival Network (SSN) on issues affecting sanctuaries and recue centers. WFA and SSN work to fill major gaps in policy discussions to advocate for animals globally at bodies such as the United Nations and the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), maximizing the efforts and resources of the animal protection and conservation movements. We can take understandings and challenges from our network and ensure their concerns are raised at a high-level policy space.

We are also honored to work with our regional sanctuary and rescue center partners from around the world: the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS); European Alliance of Rescue Centers and Sanctuaries (EARS); Pan African Sanctuary Alliance (PASA); and RED Latinoamericana de Protección Animal (RED LAPA). No matter the region, SARCs share common challenges in caring for animals and conserving species. Together, we can create a better future for animals through collaboration, connection and knowledge-sharing.

Currently the global SARC network is collaborating to bridge regions by sharing resources and experiences. Please staye tuned for exciting collaboration developments between the global SARC community in 2023.
